For the best in tires, try a Dunlop Motorcycle Tire.

Dunlop motorcycle tires have been long known for their high quality and reliability. Worldwide, motorcyclists of all skill levels depend on Dunlop motorcycle tires. In fact, Dunlop tires are used by more motorcyclists than any other brand. This is largely because of Dunlop tire’s devotion to excellence. In order to learn how successful the company is today, it is necessary to look at the company’s history.

In 1888, John Boyd Dunlop invented the first practical pneumatic tire. In doing so, he created a whole new industry.Using innovative technology, Dunlop introduced the first use of Kevlar belts in motorcycle tires and produced the first original-equipment radial street tire. Dunlop tire also continues to lead the industry with new ideas, like the 20-inch front tire for off-road use. Dunlop leads the motorcycle tire industry in its continuing research to improve the motorcycle tire. Also, Dunlop is still the only company to make motorcycle tires in the United States.

It is important to take care of your Dunlop motorcycle tire. Be sure to properly maintain it by storing it properly and maintain suspension settings in exact compliance with the vehicle owner's manual. If your motorcycle tires are improperly maintained, it could lead to flats, low tire pressure, or other potentially dangerous situations. If you don’t have any experience maintaining your motorcycle tire, be sure to take your motorcycles in to the motorcycle dealer for regular maintenance checks.

Protein Snack Ideas

If you are busy men, you will certainly look for something to eat when you are on the go, unfortunately ending to grab high-fat and low-protein snacks. But only supplements like protein powder or protein bars are not the solution; you need some solid food snacks that will provide good protein content. To this end, I will list below the most used protein snacks, referring only to the solid food and not to the supplements.

Peanuts. Peanuts have good protein content and are rich in good fats.

Egg whites. One egg white has only 15 calories, it has no cholesterol and contains four grams of protein. Throw two or three in a pan (with some peppers and onions if you want to make an omelet) for a quick and nutritious meal.

Cottage cheese. A half cup of cottage cheese contains on average 16 grams of protein, 102 calories and two grams of fat. If high protein isn't your ideal goal, then mix it with some fresh fruit for a fast, healthy snack.

Tuna. Tuna is a great source of protein with approximately 25 grams per can. Plus, one can of tuna in water contain approximately 111 calories and is fat-free.

Tofu Jerky. Tofu and soy jerky are usually made from a combination of soy products such as isolated soy protein, soy flour, or tofu, mixed and dried with spices. Look for products with a long shelf life to ensure safe storage.

Cafe de Sluyswacht

Café de Sluyswacht is an adorably little house dating from 1695 in Jodenbreestraat, Amsterdam. Once, this was a lockmaster’s house, which later became a hardware shop, and for the last twenty years it has been a café.

This is the perfect place to chill on a nice and sunny day, near a lovely old building that leans to the right keeping the character of the city. It is located next to the canal in a very picturesque area, being a lot of fun waving and raising a glass to the passing tour boats. As it's just a cafe, the beer prices are rather reasonable compared to the pricier coffee shops from the red light district. If it's raining (and it can happen since you’re in Amsterdam) it's very nice also to sit inside: a place with a lovely interior, perfect for your Amsterdam experience.

What you need to Start a Home Based Business Selling on eBay
You will need a computer, an internet connection, an eBay account which you can get free at the eBay website. You also need to be familiar with how to list items that are sold, and you will have to be able get the products sold to the person(s) who buys from you.

Getting Started Selling on eBay

Before selling on eBay as a business, you will have to familiarize yourself with the eBay format if you have not already done so. Simply go to eBay.com browse through the categories that you feel you will be selling in. It is also a good idea to register (for free at eBay.com) and buy a few items yourself to get a feel for the process.

A few of the questions you will want to answer are what are you going to going to sell, where you will get products from and at what cost, and who are your buyers going to be?

If you are serious about making serious about starting a profitable home based business selling on eBay, you are going to have to develop a marketing strategy.

The first important decision that you will have make is What to Sell."

What to Sell
What can you sell on eBay? Pretty much anything. When you first start selling on eBay, the items sold will most likely be things that are "lying around the house unwanted."

It is almost always better to focus your time and energy on selling a few items or related items.

Where to find Products for Sale?
A major part of the success of your home based business will being able to reliably find products that you will be able to sell for a profit.

Personal items - Selling personal that you do not want is a great place to start.

Garage and yard sales - You can spend some of your time shopping at garage and yard sales looking for items that you may be able to sell for a profit.

Estate sales - If you have a way of moving a lot of items that are being sold at estate sales, you can make a good profit by practically buying whole estates. However, if a professional is handling the estate sale, you may not be able to buy the items at a low enough cost to benefit you.

Established retailers - You may be able to buy overstock, discontinued, damaged, seasonal products that were not sold from retail stores at a discount.

Buying from wholesalers - If you are careful in who you choose to buy from, what to buy, and all of the costs associated with buying wholesale, this can be a good way to have a steady stream of products to sell. The most important decision may be who you choose as your wholesaler.

Finding a Niche Market
Once you have an idea of what you want will be selling on eBay, you need to focus your efforts more and find one or more niche markets. If you sell books for example, you can consider selling mainly college textbooks. This will allow you to better know the items that you will selling and more importantly your target customers and the categories which they buy from on eBay.

Choosing Categories to list your Products in
Browse the eBay categories that are most relevant to the product(s) that you are selling and list them in the categories that have the most visitors and buyers also the ones the ones that are the most specific to what you are selling. In most cases, you should list your items in no less than 5 categories.

Keeping Track of you Auctions
You will need to be able track an auction from beginning to end. When you begin to have a large number of products listed for sell, you will need to develop a system to keep track of all of them. If you list only a few items at a time, you may be able to keep track of them with a spreadsheet or on a piece of paper. If you will be listing numerous items at once, you want to use software.

If you will not be using software to keep track of the listings, be sure write down the item number, URL, listing price, listing date and time, and the category(s).

When an auction ends, write down the time it ended, the selling price if any, and the buyer's contact information. Index the auctions by auction number for future reference. This system works if you have only a few items listed at a time. It is very important to keep track of all of your auctions, especially for tax purposes.

Posting Pictures
One aspect you will want to become very familiar with will be posting quality pictures. If you will be selling any physical product, this is essential. All that you need to post a picture is a digital camera and a way to upload the image(s) to your computer.

Develop a Strategy for Selling on eBay
Again, I have to stress that when starting an eBay business, treat it like a business if you are serious about making real money selling on eBay. Develop a strategy before you begin to invest any significant amount of time, energy and money into your eBay business. Ask yourself questions such as: What will I be selling? Who will I be selling to? Where will I get the products? Will I be selling a high volume of products at a low profit margin or a low number of items for a higher profit per sale?

Many people have already started and are operating a successful home based business selling on eBay. If owning and operating a home based business is what you want, selling on eBay is one more idea and opportunity to do so.

Cherished Number Plates

A cherished number plate is a kind of private or personal number plate which has a sentimental value. The cherished number plates could represent anything from your first car to your favorite team. Regardless of what it is, a cherished number plate makes your vehicle more special and in some cases can even bring luck.

But when it comes to the number plates, there are so many choices you don’t know where to start. Even you are not sure what you can have on your own private number plate, or you don’t know if the letters and numbers which mean something to you are available. To this end, I will give you some great ideas in order to choose your number plates. For example, your personal registration number may be used to spell out your job, hobby or interests. Or you can use it to make up your name or nickname. Or even you can make someone smile and have fun when seeing your personal number plate. This can be fun or naughty, but generally show that the driver has a good sense of humor. All you have to do now is to find clever ways of using numbers or words in the make-up process of your car number plate.

The Majorelle Garden in Marrakesh

The Majorelle Garden is a botanical garden located in Marrakech, Morocco. It was designed by the expatriate French artist Jacques Majorelle in 1924, during the colonial period when Morocco was a protectorate of France. Though Majorelle's gentlemanly orientalist watercolors are largely forgotten today, the garden he created is his masterpiece. The special shade of bold cobalt blue which he used extensively in the garden and its buildings is named after him, bleu Majorelle.

The garden has been open to the public since 1947. Since 1980 the garden has been owned by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. After Yves Saint Laurent died in 2008 his ashes were scattered in the Majorelle Garden.

The garden also houses the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech, whose collection includes North African textiles from Saint-Laurent's personal collection as well as ceramics, jewelry, and paintings by Majorelle. The garden hosts more than 15 bird species, which can be found only in the area of North Africa.

Finding the Best Web Hosting Company

Not every web hosting service will fit your business perfectly. And since there are thousands of options on the market, you have to identify your basic needs in order to choose the most suitable service for your site. For example, if you run an ecommerce website you will have to search only through the webhosting providers that offer the possibility to install ecommerce software in order to be able to operate with e a shopping cart or with an inventory management.

Then you will have to get recommendations from a dedicated forum, or even you can contact the webmasters that administrates similar sites in order to ask for their opinion. Take note of bad reviews, but don't base your decision fully on them: since every company will have at a moment of time a few bad reviews, some of them being the result of the mismatch of expectations rather than incompetence.

In the end, just because you've chosen a certain web hosting company doesn't mean you have found a lifetime deal. With the time passing by, you may find that you have new needs, or that your provider doesn’t offer the promised services. In conclusion, there is no need to settle for less when there are so many choices available.

Music of Spain

Spanish music is often considered to be synonymous with flamenco, an Andalusian musical genre, which, contrary to popular belief, is not widespread outside that region. Various regional styles of folk music abound in Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia, Castile, the Basque Country, Galicia and Asturias. Pop, rock, hip hop and heavy metal are also popular.

In the field of classical music, Spain has produced a number of noted composers such as Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla and Enrique Granados and singers and performers such as José Carreras, Montserrat Caballé, Plácido Domingo, Alicia de Larrocha, Alfredo Kraus, Pau Casals, Ricardo Viñes, José Iturbi, Pablo de Sarasate, Jordi Savall and Teresa Berganza. In Spain there are over forty professional orchestras, including the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona, Orquesta Nacional de España and the Orquesta Sinfonica de Madrid. Major opera houses include the Teatro Real, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Arriaga and the El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.

Insurance companies

Insurance companies may be classified into two groups:

* Life insurance companies, which sell life insurance, annuities and pensions products.
* Non-life, General, or Property/Casualty insurance companies, which sell other types of insurance.

General insurance companies can be further divided into these sub categories.

* Standard Lines
* Excess Lines

In most countries, life and non-life insurers are subject to different regulatory regimes and different tax and accounting rules. The main reason for the distinction between the two types of company is that life, annuity, and pension business is very long-term in nature — coverage for life assurance or a pension can cover risks over many decades. By contrast, non-life insurance cover usually covers a shorter period, such as one year.

In the United States, standard line insurance companies are "mainstream" insurers. These are the companies that typically insure autos, homes or businesses. They use pattern or "cookie-cutter" policies without variation from one person to the next. They usually have lower premiums than excess lines and can sell directly to individuals. They are regulated by state laws that can restrict the amount they can charge for insurance policies.

Excess line insurance companies (aka Excess and Surplus) typically insure risks not covered by the standard lines market. They are broadly referred as being all insurance placed with non-admitted insurers. Non-admitted insurers are not licensed in the states where the risks are located. These companies have more flexibility and can react faster than standard insurance companies because they are not required to file rates and forms as the "admitted" carriers do. However, they still have substantial regulatory requirements placed upon them. State laws generally require insurance placed with surplus line agents and brokers not to be available through standard licensed insurers.

Insurance companies are generally classified as either mutual or stock companies. Mutual companies are owned by the policyholders, while stockholders (who may or may not own policies) own stock insurance companies. Demutualization of mutual insurers to form stock companies, as well as the formation of a hybrid known as a mutual holding company, became common in some countries, such as the United States, in the late 20th century. Other possible forms for an insurance company include reciprocals, in which policyholders 'reciprocate' in sharing risks, and Lloyds organizations.

Insurance companies are rated by various agencies such as A. M. Best. The ratings include the company's financial strength, which measures its ability to pay claims. It also rates financial instruments issued by the insurance company, such as bonds, notes, and securitization products.

Reinsurance companies are insurance companies that sell policies to other insurance companies, allowing them to reduce their risks and protect themselves from very large losses. The reinsurance market is dominated by a few very large companies, with huge reserves. A reinsurer may also be a direct writer of insurance risks as well.

Captive insurance companies may be defined as limited-purpose insurance companies established with the specific objective of financing risks emanating from their parent group or groups. This definition can sometimes be extended to include some of the risks of the parent company's customers. In short, it is an in-house self-insurance vehicle. Captives may take the form of a "pure" entity (which is a 100% subsidiary of the self-insured parent company); of a "mutual" captive (which insures the collective risks of members of an industry); and of an "association" captive (which self-insures individual risks of the members of a professional, commercial or industrial association). Captives represent commercial, economic and tax advantages to their sponsors because of the reductions in costs they help create and for the ease of insurance risk management and the flexibility for cash flows they generate. Additionally, they may provide coverage of risks which is neither available nor offered in the traditional insurance market at reasonable prices.

The types of risk that a captive can underwrite for their parents include property damage, public and product liability, professional indemnity, employee benefits, employers' liability, motor and medical aid expenses. The captive's exposure to such risks may be limited by the use of reinsurance.

Captives are becoming an increasingly important component of the risk management and risk financing strategy of their parent. This can be understood against the following background:

* heavy and increasing premium costs in almost every line of coverage;
* difficulties in insuring certain types of fortuitous risk;
* differential coverage standards in various parts of the world;
* rating structures which reflect market trends rather than individual loss experience;
* insufficient credit for deductibles and/or loss control efforts.

There are also companies known as 'insurance consultants'. Like a mortgage broker, these companies are paid a fee by the customer to shop around for the best insurance policy amongst many companies. Similar to an insurance consultant, an 'insurance broker' also shops around for the best insurance policy amongst many companies. However, with insurance brokers, the fee is usually paid in the form of commission from the insurer that is selected rather than directly from the client.

Neither insurance consultants nor insurance brokers are insurance companies and no risks are transferred to them in insurance transactions. Third party administrators are companies that perform underwriting and sometimes claims handling services for insurance companies. These companies often have special expertise that the insurance companies do not have.

The financial stability and strength of an insurance company should be a major consideration when buying an insurance contract. An insurance premium paid currently provides coverage for losses that might arise many years in the future. For that reason, the viability of the insurance carrier is very important. In recent years, a number of insurance companies have become insolvent, leaving their policyholders with no coverage (or coverage only from a government-backed insurance pool or other arrangement with less attractive payouts for losses). A number of independent rating agencies provide information and rate the financial viability of insurance companies.

History of insurance

In some sense we can say that insurance appears simultaneously with appearance of the human society. We know of two types of economies in human societies: money economies (with markets, money, financial instruments and so on) and non-money or natural economies (without money, markets, financial instruments and so on). The second type is a more ancient form than the first.

In such an economy and community, we can see insurance in the form of people helping each other. For example, if a house burns down, the members of the community help build a new one. Should the same thing happen to one's neighbour, the other neighbours must help. Otherwise, neighbours will not receive help in the future. This type of insurance has survived to the present day in some countries where modern money economy with its financial instruments is not widespread.

Turning to insurance in the modern sense (i.e., insurance in a modern money economy, in which insurance is part of the financial sphere), early methods of transferring or distributing risk were practised by Chinese and Babylonian traders as long ago as the 3rd and 2nd millennia BC, respectively.[8] Chinese merchants travelling treacherous river rapids would redistribute their wares across many vessels to limit the loss due to any single vessel's capsizing. The Babylonians developed a system which was recorded in the famous Code of Hammurabi, c. 1750 BC, and practised by early Mediterranean sailing merchants. If a merchant received a loan to fund his shipment, he would pay the lender an additional sum in exchange for the lender's guarantee to cancel the loan should the shipment be stolen or lost at sea.

Achaemenian monarchs of Ancient Persia were the first to insure their people and made it official by registering the insuring process in governmental notary offices. The insurance tradition was performed each year in Norouz (beginning of the Iranian New Year); the heads of different ethnic groups as well as others willing to take part, presented gifts to the monarch. The most important gift was presented during a special ceremony. When a gift was worth more than 10,000 Derrik (Achaemenian gold coin) the issue was registered in a special office. This was advantageous to those who presented such special gifts. For others, the presents were fairly assessed by the confidants of the court. Then the assessment was registered in special offices.

The purpose of registering was that whenever the person who presented the gift registered by the court was in trouble, the monarch and the court would help him. Jahez, a historian and writer, writes in one of his books on ancient Iran: "[W]henever the owner of the present is in trouble or wants to construct a building, set up a feast, have his children married, etc. the one in charge of this in the court would check the registration. If the registered amount exceeded 10,000 Derrik, he or she would receive an amount of twice as much."[1]

A thousand years later, the inhabitants of Rhodes invented the concept of the 'general average'. Merchants whose goods were being shipped together would pay a proportionally divided premium which would be used to reimburse any merchant whose goods were jettisoned during storm or sinkage.

The Greeks and Romans introduced the origins of health and life insurance c. 600 AD when they organized guilds called "benevolent societies" which cared for the families and paid funeral expenses of members upon death. Guilds in the Middle Ages served a similar purpose. The Talmud deals with several aspects of insuring goods. Before insurance was established in the late 17th century, "friendly societies" existed in England, in which people donated amounts of money to a general sum that could be used for emergencies.

Separate insurance contracts (i.e., insurance policies not bundled with loans or other kinds of contracts) were invented in Genoa in the 14th century, as were insurance pools backed by pledges of landed estates. These new insurance contracts allowed insurance to be separated from investment, a separation of roles that first proved useful in marine insurance. Insurance became far more sophisticated in post-Renaissance Europe, and specialized varieties developed.

Some forms of insurance had developed in London by the early decades of the seventeenth century. For example, the will of the English colonist Robert Hayman mentions two "policies of insurance" taken out with the diocesan Chancellor of London, Arthur Duck. Of the value of £100 each, one relates to the safe arrival of Hayman's ship in Guyana and the other is in regard to "one hundred pounds assured by the said Doctor Arthur Ducke on my life". Hayman's will was signed and sealed on 17 November 1628 but not proved until 1633.[9] Toward the end of the seventeenth century, London's growing importance as a centre for trade increased demand for marine insurance.

In the late 1680s, Edward Lloyd opened a coffee house that became a popular haunt of ship owners, merchants, and ships’ captains, and thereby a reliable source of the latest shipping news. It became the meeting place for parties wishing to insure cargoes and ships, and those willing to underwrite such ventures. Today, Lloyd's of London remains the leading market (note that it is not an insurance company) for marine and other specialist types of insurance, but it works rather differently than the more familiar kinds of insurance.

Insurance as we know it today can be traced to the Great Fire of London, which in 1666 devoured more than 13,000 houses. The devastating effects of the fire converted the development of insurance "from a matter of convenience into one of urgency, a change of opinion reflected in Sir Christopher Wren's inclusion of a site for 'the Insurance Office' in his new plan for London in 1667."[10] A number of attempted fire insurance schemes came to nothing, but in 1681 Nicholas Barbon, and eleven associates, established England's first fire insurance company, the 'Insurance Office for Houses', at the back of the Royal Exchange. Initially, 5,000 homes were insured by Barbon's Insurance Office.[11]

The first insurance company in the United States underwrote fire insurance and was formed in Charles Town (modern-day Charleston), South Carolina, in 1732. Benjamin Franklin helped to popularize and make standard the practice of insurance, particularly against fire in the form of perpetual insurance. In 1752, he founded the Philadelphia Contributionship for the Insurance of Houses from Loss by Fire. Franklin's company was the first to make contributions toward fire prevention. Not only did his company warn against certain fire hazards, it refused to insure certain buildings where the risk of fire was too great, such as all wooden houses. In the United States, regulation of the insurance industry is highly Balkanized, with primary responsibility assumed by individual state insurance departments.

Whereas insurance markets have become centralized nationally and internationally, state insurance commissioners operate individually, though at times in concert through a national insurance commissioners' organization. In recent years, some have called for a dual state and federal regulatory system (commonly referred to as the Optional federal charter (OFC)) for insurance similar to that which oversees state banks and national banks.

Earn Money Online

Online trading has given anyone who has a computer, some money to open an account and a reasonably good financial history the ability to invest in the market. The personal broker is not needed anymore, and most analysts agree that average people trading stock is no longer something strange. The market has become more accessible, but that doesn't mean that online trading should be taken lightly. Even though you can take it on your own, it is better to have some specialists on your side when you want to invest. Even if it is about stocks, options, mutual funds, bonds or futures…

InvestmentForge is an investing control management team which provides stable interest-earning potential to all participants. This simple and modern way to earn some money online is made possible by a numerous team which consists of professional analysts, currency traders, stocks exchange brokers and support staff, all of them providing investing management services to institutions and individuals through the investment funds.

Besides trading, you have also the possibility to become the partner of the investment firm and to feel the advantage of referral programs. To this end, you can earn some percentages from every investment made by one of the investors referred by you.

Tea Culture

In many cultures, tea is often had at high class social events, such as afternoon tea and the tea party. It may be consumed early in the day to heighten alertness; it contains theophylline and bound caffeine (sometimes called "theine"), although there are also decaffeinated teas. In many cultures such as Arab culture tea is a focal point for social gatherings. Moreover, the history of tea in Iran - in the Persian culture- is another to explore. One source cites: "the first thing you will be offered when a guest at an Iranian household is tea".

There are tea ceremonies which have arisen in different cultures, Japan's complex, formal and serene one being one of the most well known. Other examples are the Chinese tea ceremony which uses some traditional ways of brewing tea. One form of Chinese tea ceremony is the Gongfu tea ceremony, which typically uses small Yixing clay teapots and oolong tea.

The American poet Wallace Stevens, a tea-fancier, is credited by Eleanor Cook with a "delicately implicit trope of drinking tea as a metaphor for reading (ingesting a drink from leaves)."

Best Time to Conceive a Child

The best time to conceive a child is during the several days leading up to ovulation and on the day that you are ovulating. The reason for this is because the egg only lives for about 12 hours. Given that very small window of opportunity, the good news is that the sperm can live for much longer inside a woman's body (for 5 or 6 days). In order to increase the chances of getting pregnant, you need to have as many sperm as possible "waiting" for the egg to be released.

There are a lot of articles on the web talking about pregnancy and childbirth, about when to conceive, about the fertile periods, but the most important thing is that you have to know the best time to get pregnant, to evaluate when your ovulation due is. Then, once you know your ovulation period, you can time sexual intercourse in accordance with it to increase your chances of getting pregnant. You can accomplish this by timing intercourse starting about 6 days before your anticipated ovulation date. In order to determine that, you can use various approaches, such as ovulation test kits, monitoring your cervical fluid and doing BBT charting over a period of months.

Hoping that you will find this information very useful, I am waiting additional info related to the subject.

Chocolate Touch

Chocolate is regularly eaten for pleasure, but there also beneficial health effects of eating chocolate. Cocoa or dark chocolate benefits the circulatory system. Other beneficial effects suggested include anticancer, brain stimulator or cough prevention. The aphrodisiac effect so much debated, is still unproven.

On the other hand, the unconstrained consumption of large quantities of any energy-rich food such as chocolate is thought to increase the risk of obesity without a corresponding increase in activity. Raw chocolate is high in cocoa butter, a fat which is removed during chocolate refining, then added back in varying proportions during the manufacturing process. Manufacturers may add other fats, sugars, and milk as well, all of which increase the caloric content of chocolate.

A study reported by the BBC indicated that melting chocolate in one's mouth produced an increase in brain activity and heart rate that was more intense than that associated with passionate kissing, and also lasted four times as long after the activity had ended.

Enjoying a Picnic

In contemporary usage, a picnic can be defined simply as a pleasure excursion at which a meal is eaten outdoors, ideally taking place in a beautiful landscape such as a park, beside a lake or with an interesting view and possibly at a public event such as before an open air theatre performance, and usually in summer. Picnics are often family-oriented but can also be an intimate occasion between two people, or a large get-together such as company picnics and church picnics. It is sometimes combined with a cookout, usually a form of barbecue.

On romantic and family picnics a picnic basket and a blanket (to sit or recline on) are usually brought along. Outdoor games or some other form of entertainment are common at large picnics.

Some picnics are a potluck, an entertainment at which each person contributed some dish to a common table for all to share. When the picnic is not also a cookout, the food eaten is rarely hot, instead taking the form of sandwiches, finger food, fresh fruit, salad, meats already prepared on toasters and accompanied by chilled wine or champagne or soft drinks.

Travel Destinations for Romantic Getaways

Even if you choose a weekend in a peaceful country retreat, an elegant hotel in the centre of a buzzing European city or simply a hammock for two alongside sparkling seas, a romantic getaway is a very personal choice. With luxury hotels in a variety of locations and world renowned trains and cruises passing through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, I will try to present some locations for you to choose when looking for the perfect setting for a romantic vacation.

Tahiti. Tahiti is the largest island in the Windward group of French Polynesia, located in the archipelago of Society Islands in the southern Pacific Ocean. The island has a population of 178,133 which makes it the most populous island of French Polynesia, accounting 68.6% of the total population. The capital, Papeete, is located on the northwest coast.

Maldives. The Maldive Islands are an island country in the Indian Ocean formed by a double chain of twenty-six atolls stretching in a north-south direction off India's Lakshadweep islands, between Minicoy Island and Chagos Archipelago. It stands in the Laccadive Sea, about seven hundred kilometers south-west of Sri Lanka. The atolls of Maldives encompass a territory spread over roughly 90,000 square kilometers, making it one of the most disparate countries in the world. It features 1,192 islets, of which two hundred are inhabited. The Republic of Maldives capital and largest city is Malé, with a population of 103,693. It is located at the southern edge of North Malé Atoll, in the Kaafu Atoll and traditionally it was the King's Island, from where the ancient Maldive Royal dynasties ruled and where the palace was located. The Maldives is the smallest Asian country in both population and area. With an average ground level of 1.5 meters above sea level, it is the lowest country on the planet.

Mauritius.
It is an island nation off the coast of the African continent in the southwest Indian Ocean, about 900 kilometres east of Madagascar. In addition to the island of Mauritius, the Republic includes the islands of Cargados Carajos, Rodrigues and the Agalega Islands. Mauritius is part of the Mascarene Islands, with the French island of Réunion 200 km to the southwest and the island of Rodrigues 570 km to the northeast. The island of Mauritius is renowned for having been the only known home of the dodo. First sighted by Europeans around 1600 on Mauritius, the dodo became extinct less than eighty years later.

Antigua. Antigua is an island in the West Indies, in the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean region, the main island of the country of Antigua and Barbuda. Antigua means "ancient" in Spanish and was named by Christopher Columbus after a church in Spain. It is also known as Wadadli, from the original Amerindian inhabitants, and means approximately "our own". The island's circumference is roughly 87 km and its area 281 km2. It is the largest of the Leeward Islands, and the most developed and prosperous due to its upscale tourism industry, offshore banking, internet gambling services and education services, including two medical schools. English Harbour on the southeastern coast is famed for its protected shelter during violent storms. It is the site of a restored British colonial naval station called "Nelson's Dockyard" after Captain Horatio Nelson. Today English Harbour and the neighboring village of Falmouth are internationally famous as a yachting and sailing destination and provisioning centre. During Antigua Sailing Week, at the end of April and beginning of May, the annual world-class regatta brings many sailing vessels and sailors to the island to play sports.

Fiji. Fiji, officially the Republic of the Fiji Islands, is an island nation in the South Pacific Ocean east of Vanuatu, west of Tonga and south of Tuvalu. The country comprises an archipelago of about 322 islands, of which 106 are permanently inhabited and 522 islets. The two major islands, Viti Levu and Vanua Levu, account for 87% of the population.

Belize. It is a country in Central America. Belize has a diverse society, composed of many cultures and speaking many languages. Although Creole and Spanish are spoken among the population, Belize is the only country in Central America where English is the official language. It is bordered by Mexico to the north, Guatemala to the south and west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east. Belize is culturally unique among Central American nations. It is the only nation in Central America with a British colonial heritage, and is the only constituent nation of the Commonwealth of Nations in its region. Culturally, Belize considers itself to be Central American but keeps ties to the Caribbean Islands.

Saint John. Saint John is an island in the Caribbean Sea and a constituent district of the United States Virgin Islands, an unincorporated territory of the United States. St. John is an exclusive travel and honeymoon destination with several resorts and one of the top ten beaches in the world. It is also considered to be the wealthiest and most expensive of the U.S. Virgin Islands, attracting a high level of affluent tourists. The island's high level of affluence has earned it the distinction of being the "Beverly Hills of the Caribbean". St. John is located about 4 miles east of Saint Thomas, the location of the territory's capital, Charlotte Amalie, and 4 miles south and west of Tortola, part of the British Virgin Islands. Because there are no airports on St. John, the only access to the island is by boat.

Personalized Baby Blankets

Every child is a unique gift, a gift more fragile than china and more precious than gold. As any parent knows, having a child is a blessing that forever changes the life. Although, in a lifetime, you are called upon to play many roles, none is more important than that of parent. In conclusion: the responsibility is great, but the joy is greater. For someone so special, it is inevitable that you would want to find a gift as equally wonderful. The personalized blankets for babies can represent a memorable gift and are also extraordinarily soft and luxurious.

A toddler blanket is custom made for that special baby in your life and is available in different sizes. It is perfect for a variety of uses and cozy when he is watching his favorite cartoons or when you are reading to him a fairy tale before going to sleep. You can also add your own creative touch to a baby blanket by adding the embroidered name of your child or a unique phrase.

French Wine

French wine is produced in several regions throughout France, in quantities between 50 and 60 million hectoliters per year (7–8 billion bottles). France has the world's largest wine production ahead of Italy and the second-largest total vineyard area behind Spain. French wine exports make up 34.01% of the world market share, ahead of Italian (18.03%) Australian (10.24%) and Spanish (9.18%) wine.

French wine traces its history to the 6th century BC, with many of France's regions dating their wine-making history to Roman times. The wines produced today range from expensive high-end wines sold internationally, to more modest wines usually only seen within France.

Two concepts central to higher end French wines are the notion of “terroir”, which links the style of the wines to the specific locations where the grapes are grown and the wine is made, and the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) system. Appellation rules closely define which grape varieties and winemaking practices are allowed in each of France's several hundred geographically defined appellations, which can cover entire regions, individual villages or even specific vineyards.

France is the source of many grape varieties (such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah) that are now planted throughout the world, as well as several wine-making practices and styles of wine that are copied and imitated in other producing countries. Although some producers have benefited in recent years from rising prices and increased demand for some of the prestige wines from Burgundy and Bordeaux, the French wine industry as a whole has been influenced by a decline in domestic consumption as well as growing competition from both the New World and other European countries.

The most important TV options for you

As you all know, most people spend nearly 4 hours a day in front of a TV screen. And it is no doubt about the fact that TV can be an excellent source of entertainment, and even education (between us: too much screen time can have unhealthy side effects). So, what do you think that are the most important options that should be followed when trying to find a new provider?

For example, I have put together what are in my opinion the most important options, and more precisely represent a must for me: high-definition TV, sports channels, premium movie channels, all local channels and as much international channels as possible. And if you think it is a little too much, most of the features can be found in the offers of each satellite TV provider like Directv at very good costs. Even though in the past months I minimized the time spent in front of the TV, there are a lot of quality programs that shouldn’t be missed if you want to be informed and updated.

And to prove the impact of television in every man’s life, I will give you a funny example: last month, my cousin moved from CA to NY and the first thing he wanted to know is if there is Direct TV in NY. But after just a simple search in Google, he found Direct TV site and all needed information about areas covered, plus the special offers.

Playing with my Dog in the Backyard

Perhaps the biggest and most widely held misconception about dogs is the belief that they will be healthy and happy living only in the backyard. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Current studies in dog psychology show that dogs isolated in backyards are highly likely to develop serious behavioral problems that often result in euthanasia for the animal. And we don’t have to forget about the yard fleas, which can be very annoying when you allow your dog to enter in the house even if it is for a limited period of time.

Much like their wolf ancestors, dogs are very social. In fact, dogs are more social than humans and need to be part of human families. When you own a dog, you become the dog's pack and he wants to be with his pack. Forcing a dog to live outside with little or no human companionship is one of the most psychological damaging things a pet owner can do to a dog. This is the reason that I let my dog come inside and for which I spend a lot of time playing with my dog in the backyard. What about you?

Blue Lagoon Cocktail

Blue Lagoon Cocktail is one of my favorite cocktails. Since it is a refreshing vodka-based cocktail, Blue Lagoon is one of the most popular and refreshing cocktails for all adults to enjoy. It is served best in a long glass. Since I want to enjoy tonight a glass of Blue Lagoon together with my wife I’ve searched on the internet the best way to prepare it. Just look what recipe I found: first of all I have to fill the highball glass almost to the top with ice cubes, then into the highball glass to measure out and add 50ml of vodka and 25ml of Blue Curacao, and for the end topping it with lemonade. After that, using a long-handled bar spoon or cocktail stirrer, I have to stir the cocktail thoroughly. Just not to forget to garnish the side of the glass with a maraschino cherry. It would be great to have the possibility to enjoy this strong drink near the pool…
