Discovering the Beaches of Phuket

Every year people from all over the world come to Phuket for sunbathing on its sandy beaches and enjoying the rush of adrenaline that comes with the water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, yacht racing etc. Here, the waterfronts are just perfect for these water sports. In fact, there is no limit for the entertainment options when you are in Phuket. All you have to do in order to have a great time here is to make your hotel reservations in advance in order to have a secured place to keep your luggage. Once that is ensured, forget everything and jump in the temptations offered by the island.

The warm blue waters of the Andaman Sea are very inviting. The most prominent beaches are well developed and a lot of facilities like umbrella sheds and beach chairs are provided. But nothing matches the feel of cool white sand against the bare skin and once there, you are sure to make even sand castles like you used to during childhood. Patong is the most famous Phuket beach and it is only natural that it is crowded throughout the year as the region has a tropical climate and the sea front makes it an ideal tourist destination all around the year.

If your idea of spending time on a beach is to be away from the crowd and chasing the waves or running wildly on the beach and on the waters and then marveling as to how your foot marks in the sand are still there while those on the water have faded away, then try hiring a cycle and set about exploring some of the most secluded beaches in Phuket.

While the day can be spent on the beach, the night comes alive with the enthralling nightlife of Phuket. The bars, pubs and clubs here are teeming with activities as the night grows late, and as thousands of lights become illuminated, you feel there is a party going on in all the realms of the Universe.
